It only took until the letter W for me to realize how Suldog was writing that post. But I'm not writing it that way....
In case you're wondering he told a story of his life from A to Z.
A. Amazing each day and grateful and all that.
B. is the first letter in my name and surprisingly I know more people with the name of Barbara than ever before. It's an epidemic from my generation congregating in the same place. When I was growing up, I was the only one.
C. ows are under appreciated except if you're at Ruth Chris steak house or some such place.
That was a random thought.
D. reminds me of my Dad, who was quite a character and I miss him a lot. Ya get me?, it was a tag line of his. I wrote a blog about him and I'm sure whoever reads this already knows it, but for those who don't, http://bustersdaughter.wordpress.com.
E. is for Elephant and when life is overwhelming, remember this, "how do you eat an elephant?"
One bite at a time, of course.
F. stands for that word I thought I invented...and that so many people use.
G. is that pause when you're trying to think of the next thing you want to say or for Gigabytes. lol
H. ey it's taking me forever to write this.
I. am so needing a VACATION right now and I hope it's fun.
J. is for my middle name. Jo. My mom said my dad picked out my middle name, it was his girlfriends from the service. As my daughter would say, "that's messed up". lol
K. Kay would be my ex sister in law...dadgumitsugar...she always says that.
L. aps is what I should be doing instead of sitting here doing this.
M. is one half of m's . I used to play the M &; M game with my kids when they were little. Shame on Me...they tell me now. lol. I would put a few m&;m's in the palm of my hand and if they wanted any they'd have to guess the color and then if they got it right they'd get that color, if not, I did. Some times were good for them and some times were better for me....
Was I mean..? I don't think so...to hear them tell it now, they thought so...but it ends in laughter.. it's all good...lol
N. Nestles, Nestles make the very best Chocolate. Do you remember the dog in that commercial?
O. OMIGOSHBECKY? where did that saying ever come from?
P. ot, potato, periwinkle, pekinese-weird looking dog, pookie lol.
Q. ue,quiet
R. icky Nelson, I loved him. I wanted to marry him. Who'd you want to "marry"? lol
S. moke, I used to, it's been 31 years ago this past November when I quit. Seriously Super.
T. oke, is what I used to do and I quit that too, many years ago..
U. mbrella or bumbershoot, which do you prefer?
V. ictory at almost finishing this.
W. ow, whoa, whee or websites, which I'm doing my book learnin' in. I love it, there is so much to learn.
X. marks the xylophone spot. Speaking of xylophone, watch this
Y. ou,
Z. yrtec...I don't need it.
When I'm in full concentration mode things like this are a breeze. But this took way too long..
I may try this again later. When I'm outta school.
Life as I see it day to day in my own corner of the world about me and my family and friends

I said Busy not Dizzy
Been busy, how about you all? School is taking up time, I'm trying to jam information into my grey cells. This puts me in mind of my kids when they were being spoon fed. You'd put the food in and it would ooze back out and you'd scrape it up and jam it back in. That's what I feel like learning all this stuff. I take a little in and cram a little more in and feel pretty good if one or two items have remained.
And then Labor Day weekend was busy, I had to get ready for a wedding. I really didn't do a lot but it felt like I did. I had a pedicure, it was great, and then Taryn, a new student of the nail business and family friend, gave me a manicure. She did a great job, we're working on taking photos for her new blog,Taryn's Nail Couture , she's been busy with nail school during the summer and the start of school this fall so getting the blog loaded with photos and alot of other goodies has been a slow process.
Then my son surprised us on Monday, it was so nice to see him, it really doesn't matter how old our kids are just the excitement of being in the same room with them is what matters.
School is my main focus right now,( I guess I've said that), I'll be having a change of scenery because I'm house sitting for almost two weeks. I need that, I'll also have my pet fix too, 3 dogs, 2 cats. I'll come home like I've had my own VA CA without any credit card charges.
I appreciate their trips.

An Unconventional Holiday
Oh my gawd, I feel a heavy post coming on. I feel heaviness in my heart and my being. I'm trying to push past all the gloom but philosophically the door is gargantuan and mostly I haven't eaten my Wheaties, and I'm tired. Trying to rush grief isn't always good, missing your appointments to your therapist isn't either. Oh yes, I have a therapist and from the state the world is in so should they, so there! By the way, I just stuck my tongue out too. So get over it!
I love the mornings, and I love to write in the mornings, I'm writing a book and it's hard when you can't dive into the fantasy of creating, what else is there if there isn't an outlet to create. Piecemeal I suppose is better than nothing.
I need a break, a change of scenery, I need a vacation.
I've taken my holidays lately through blogland, just this past week I was traveling through a few different countries thanks to Tongue In Cheek, courtesy of Corey and FH.
Oklahoma where the wind is.....oh sorry I was singing on my way down the long winding dusty trail, Pioneer Woman, she was in the lead wagon, I had to pass the time. :)
So many different personalities behind each superhighway of cyberspace, all with a welcome mat inviting you in to take your shoes off, have a glass of wine, sit a spell and let's talk, and I love it, but seriously as much as I love that,
I need a vaca and no laptap no matter what can make a difference.
I'm knocking on Ali's, door, I hope she's home, I'm in desperate need of some of the Aromatherapy she talks about, I've been a little tense, too much sugar probably from visiting Bakerella
I'll make do for now, but rest assured I'm heading off somewheres, somehow, someday,
but in the meantime, join me, I'm heading off to Sunderland England, Melanie has some books to introduce us to and some swaps possibly about to start. I can't think of a better way to relax but to kick your shoes off put your feet up, grab a cup of tea with good read.
There now,almost better already.

You don't know how lucky you are boy.....
Vacations, what sets you off in a direction of relaxed bliss? Is it a hearts desire to see a place of God's designs? Or a roller coaster boasting to be the biggest and the best.
Are you on a lovers road to beds of various shapes and bathtubs big enough to double as the local swimming hole?
Have other people fought and died and historical signs litter the area like the fallen comrades of yesteryear? No matter what takes you where and whatever the reason for an overnight trip or weeks at a time. Don't forget to appreciate this desired time. This isn't only a vacation this is a privilege. You don't know how lucky you are.
