Here we are in July, humid weather, our first hurricane-Arhur- but I must say, it's getting better and better.

Swimming is one way to make the hot humid weather better, and I've been taking advantage of it, .
How people vacation here to stand in long lines in Mickeyworld is beyond me…I'd choose the lazy river, or reclining in my own cabana watching the football while sipping on a cool one.

  The beach- how we love it, sand and grit, waves, and undertows, heat, and sand castles, dragging everything you own, can be both, melty and fun so rent an umbrella and chairs and leave toting to someone else. 

 I haven't been yet this year, I always intend to but remember spring break and crowds, then July and crowds, eventually I will make it…
How will you spend the rest of your summer, where will you go?  The old swimmin' hole, Mickeyworld, or by the sea ………..

I’ve been unofficially informed of neglecting my duties/ posting on my blog.  I learned if you neglect, you lose your place. Goodness knows, I didn’t want that to happen, actually it did happen, I’ve dropped lower than a bikini on spring break Suldog, thanks for keeping me in line.  J 

This weekend, I’ll be doing a photo shoot for a client who has entered his first (that I know of) BBQ competition.There are over 114 applicants.  Professional and Backyard, as it’s labeled and it’s going to be a long day, my part won’t be wrought cooking or cleaning up, just shooting, smelling, and ogling.  I am hoping to bring ample samples home with me, I’ll probably have every dog in the neighborhood on my "tail" 'cause I’ll smell so darn good.

 It took this competition to make me aware this festival even existed.  It’s not your yuppie type festival, definitely old Florida, redneck as I see it, it won’t make it any less fun. It's the Old Florida Outdoor Festival.  And to make sure I keep  up with my posting duties, I'll try to get some photos or links on the next post.  In the meantime, if you want to test out your napkins head on over to the FB page of Grillin' Gaines Catering.   While you're there "like" it, won't you?

At the Moment

Okay I"m bored.  I'm bored with writing at the moment.  I can do really well, just like Seinfeld when I write about nothing, the problem is I have too much going on in my life, and it is something but for most it's nothing.
When I'm not on my blog posting I seem to neglect the other blogs I like to read and for those of you...and I'm sure you know who you are...I'm sorry.

I'm trying to get a business off the ground and it looks like the bird right now in "its a bugs life"...shaky...
I'm having a great time with my stick figures and the New Amazing Adventures of stick barb.

I'm trying to involve myself more with Meet-ups.  especially in my field.  Web Design/Social Media/SEO, etc. and a PHP thrown in...boring, but necessary and interesting....
I have household junk to fix, a temp job to look for and finishing my resume' which I hate doing, so I can go to the temp store and find a job...ha!
So you see I am a bit over the top and my hormones are out of whack, it's like little bonfires all over my body.  I"m sure you could have lived with out hearing that.

This will have to do in the way of a posting errors and all....I hope to be back soon....
