Oh this is shameful, I had good intentions of keeping up with my blog… just know if my mind could write the postings I would've been caught up.
What's exciting……… well…………. I mopped the kitchen floor…………...I finished some postings for a business then I finished a poster for a party.
I made these amazing Peanut Butter Bars for my church coffee hour.
I found the recipe on Pinterest . If for no other reason, that you join Pinterest, then it should be for recipes, it's the bomb for recipes. Especially the fattening kind.
Here's the shameful link to find those little babies Sally's Baking Addiction . If the blog name doesn't give you an indication of what you're in for, well then… I can't help you. HA!
So I've been schooling others on Pinterest Business. If you have a business this is the place, depending of the type of business you have of course.
Make sure you have the time to devote to it and setting it up, it is a handful, but once you get it it's not that bad.
Like anything else take baby steps.. Rome wasn't built in a day.
I've done many other things but they seem to bunch up and get a little overwhelming.
Do you UBER? Uber is great! It's less than most taxi's. It's personable. It is quick to pick you up and it is accommodating. Even if you think you don't need it, sign up anyway, you never know when you may be in a pinch for a ride. They will pick you up where you're at and there is NO MONEY EXCHANGED EVER!
Most towns have Uber, check and see if yours does.
No, I'm not getting paid for advertising..I just like Uber. I started driving for Uber nearly a month ago a few days a week, it fits my schedule and a few extra dollars end up in the cookie jar…. I've met many nice people, briefly. Some have replaced their monthly car payments, insurance, gas for a uber rides. Cool huh?
I'm also learning more about my city than I knew..places I didn't have a clue were there.
And if you're wondering, the majority of people who use Uber are young professionals, but I see more possibilities here…..
So in a nutshell, I've been busy and good intentions didn't type this…
Hope you have an Uberexciting day..lol
Life as I see it day to day in my own corner of the world about me and my family and friends

A Long Day Off
Sur-prise sur-prise sur-prise, and not as daft as Gomer saying it, I might add.
My surprise came by way of not having my head in the clouds as you might think, and instead having them in a book/computer for school. It was 10 minutes before school was over for the day, being Friday it was more than welcomed. When Julia, my classmate, came up to me while my ears were jamming to something, and I was trying to keep up and absorb the info for creating your own Contact page, she said, "Have a nice Thanksgiving". I found that a little odd considering she could have said that on Monday. " But we don't have school next week."
That got my attention and relief fell all over me. Whoo hoo!. I wished her well and others and focused my eyes back to my task to cram in as much as I could.
What a gift. My feet are dancing the two step in my mind. I have needed this break more than you can imagine. It is awesome learning new things but it is exhausting as well. Especially since I'm hauling ass to meet a deadline. (sorry) And I am at that!
Not only can I clean, bake, visit and eat Turkey but hopefully accomplish the 3 things I've decided will move me along before school starts. There is much to be done, and much not to do.
Today I'm cleaning my house and relaxing too. It's 3:00 and I'm still in the jammies, windows opened, breeze is luscious flowing through the house and no plans on what's going on in the next moment.
I"m pleased to inform the rest of the day continued on in the same manner of nothing nothing and more of nothing and a few somethings, with a trip to the store much later and through the take out line.
That was bliss.
I'd like to take this time to wish all of you a very
Happy Thanksgiving.

Part 2-Nothing
It's a holiday from school today, thanks Martin!
I'm making cakes for a friend from school and it's her birthday. She's helped me so much with those pesky little details of Photoshop, as well as other essential aspects of learning Web Design, so I thought I'd bake her a cake for the sacrifice of her time. It was a great excuse to haul out the baking goodies and lose myself in a mound of flour.
A few years ago I was looking through Nigella Lawson's cookbooks, I forget which one, and found , Quadruple Chocolate Loaf Cake. It's a winner, it keeps well and by that I mean it maintains its moisture and for a homemade chocolate cake, sometimes that's a little tricky. (the trick is the chocolate drizzle after the cake comes out of the oven)
Note: This cake is rich so it may send you over the edge inducing a coma like state.
In the meantime I've been trying to get my assignments finished in Illustrator, I'm succeeding, only two more short chapters to go. Retaining is another matter. ha!
I'm still working on my early spring cleaning, it taking time, especially since I've been waiting on my daughter to pick up the rest of your youthful momentoes. This is a switch from my unmade bed from the last post. But that's only one thing I slack on in the big picture and it's behind closed doors and only at certain times. I know when it's time to rid myself of "stuff" that clutters. I'm taking this a little slower ,especially since I'm dealing with papers and such.
Update...they're gone. yeah.
Meanwhile, cakes are out of the oven and resting comfortably on the rack. They've been thoroughly doused with the chocolate sauce and await the shavings on top. I forgot to buy the shaving chocolate I really forgot but I also thought I might eat it before it ended up on the cake so I thought I'd wait. Has that ever happened to you?
The other cake if I don't start divvying it out to other people will soon be slowly whittled away by way of fork to mouth resuscitation.
Is this weather playing havoc with your skin? My skin is going crazy, one day it's freezing, the next it's a open the windows. I love those days, but my skin is confused to say the least. Last year it was cold consistently and I didn't have this kind of problem. I have chapped face. Not a pretty picture and not fun either.
Well, it's been a few days since the cake making and such..I held off hoping to have a photo of it which I do not. So I went to google and found one that resembles it. This will have to do.
